Azor side effectsAzor is a medicine against Hypertension. Azor contains Amlodipine besylate and Olmesartan medoxomil.

The most serious possible side effect of Azor is that in pregnancy during the second and third trimesters, Azor can cause injury and even death to the developing fetus.

Hypotension in volume- or salt-depleted patients with treatment initiation of Azor may be anticipated. Increased angina or myocardial infarction with Azor may occur upon dosage initiation or increase. Changes in renal function may happen in susceptible persons.

Edema (swelling) is the most common reported side effect of Azor. It may be reduced by limiting the intake of dietary sodium. Ssudden extreme sleepiness may also be a sign that the Azor dose may need to be adjusted as a side effect of hypotension.

Heart palpitations, muscle cramps, itching, sweating and headache also are sometimes reported as adverse effects of Azor.
